Crystal Martin, an Inuk originally from Sanirajak, Nunavut, brings unparalleled experience, entrepreneurial expertise, and award-winning leadership to the National Indigenous Economic Development Board. As the founder of her own consultancy and co-founder of Indigenous Geographic, Crystal has spent over seven years at the forefront of Indigenous-led economic ventures, helping to establish numerous Inuit-owned businesses and driving forward innovative approaches to economic reconciliation.
Her work, both on national and international stages, has solidified her reputation as a powerful advocate for Inuit self-determination and sustainable development. Crystal has represented Inuit perspectives at global forums, including the United Nations, Arctic Frontiers, and the Norwegian Embassy, where she promotes the integration of Indigenous knowledge in addressing both economic and environmental challenges.
